About Me
I am in my 23rd year in education, and it’s been the greatest joy to pour into young lives year after year. I’ve taught kindergarten, 3rd grade and 4th grade. I’ve trained in an Early Head Start center prior to teaching. I’ve served as an Instructional coach, Coordinator, and Director of Teaching and Learning. My most recent experience is serving as a principal.
Each role has helped me to create a passion for making learning fun, meaningful, and magical.
I grew up in the small town of Turkey, Texas, and am a proud graduate of Texas Tech University — Wreck ’Em— as well as a graduate of Wayland Baptist University.
I’m married to Layton Garrett, and together we have two incredible children, Kannon and Laney. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll find me crafting or planning celebrations —
I believe in making every moment special, especially for little ones!
What I’m Most Excited About:
I am truly thrilled to share this year with my Thrive kids — to help them grow, explore, and realize just how brightly they can shine. Each child is a gift, and I can’t wait to watch them thrive.

I grew up in Amarillo, Tx, but currently reside in Tulia, Tx. I am a proud graduate from Amarillo College, West Texas A&M University, and Stephen F. Austin State University — Axe 'Em, Jacks!

I am married to my loving and supportive husband, Felix Frausto, and together we have three amazing children: Rankin, Raylee, and Rynlee. Outside of school, we love to travel, hangout at the lake, and make memories with family and friends.
